The parent community helps make a lot happen at Paden - from going into classrooms as art or garden docents to planning Family Fun Nights to updating the marquee out front!
Volunteers get to see “behind the scenes” at the school some, but also are able to connect to a larger community at Paden while also making a real impact. (Introverted or not campus much? There are roles for all sorts of dynamics + interests)

Volunteering Forms
Every year, all volunteers need to register through the AUSD before volunteering. The good news is that there is a simplified Volunteer Registration process that allows you to sign up to help out at as many school sites as you want - all with one easy form.
Most volunteer activities require Livescan background checks and TB screening. Livescan is needed only once while at AUSD, and TB is every 4 years only. See the AUSD website linked for more information.
Livescan screening is provided at some fall Paden events, or you can schedule an appointment locally. Tip: the UPS store is fast and convenient.
After volunteering, you can log in your hours or get reimbursed.
